Susannah Kala

As an artist, Susannah works in myriad ways across the industry: from Filmmaking to Creative direction and Event production. Her short documentary "I thank my mother for my hair" won award for best documentary drama.
She is from Nepal and was born in Hong Kong, and now lives and works in London.
Her work focuses on new and diverse representations of Asian identity through Fashion and Performance Art, and has been published in Nowness Asia, Girls in Films, Director's note, Little black book and Minute shorts.
